10 Step Buying Process
- Decide you would like to purchase a home. Notify me of your intent and timeline.
- Work with a Loan Officer to get approved.
- Meet with me to discuss your timeline and what you are looking for in your new home.
- Receive automatic e-mails, based on the criteria you give me, each time a new property comes to the market.
- Choose the houses you are most interested in. Notify me and I will schedule showings.
- Make an offer once you find a home you like.
- Negotiate until the terms are acceptable for you if the seller counter-offers. Once the offer is accepted there will be an appraisal and a home inspection, if you choose to have one. (If you are purchasing a condo or town home your offer will be contingent on review of the association documents and rules.)
- Start packing while I schedule the closing for you.
- Attend the final walk-through of the home, usually 24 hours before closing.
- Attend closing, get your keys and move into your new home.
