City of Bloomington, Minnesota

Bloomington, is one of the state's largest cities. Bloomington features the International Airport, Mall of America, large businesses and various hotels. It is easy to see why hospitality is the number on industry business in Bloomington. One thing that makes Bloomington stand out though is its dedication to open space. About one-third of Bloomington is designated as parkland and recreation space. Bloomington also boarders the Minnesota River, where 12 square miles are dedicated Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge. In addition to the Airport (MSP) Bloomington also has the Hiawatha Light Rail Line that takes you to downtown Minneapolis.
